Mature white bull shot in the Foleyet area 2001. Ivanhoe River... Notice the fur coloration. This moose, like many of the others, has a definitive 2 tone fur type.. Look at the sholders in this shot, from a direct, strait on Angle. The fur appears to change color from Grey to Brown. Compare it to the picture on the right. Is this the start or the end of a new species? I've been debating with some biology guys whether this animal could be considered "Melanistic", which would mean that it could "tan" and change colors depending on the amount of sunlight.

Bull hit by train in the Foleyet area during the winter months. Approximately 4 years ago. Does this moose have "better" or "worse" camoflauge in the wilderness in the winter? Is this animal "genetically inferior"? He's hanging at Northern Lights (Bar & Lounge), Foleyet Ontario. White Bull pictured above at the taxidermist office. Check out the fur from the different angles... Evolution?

Winter Track Kill. Mooseland Resort, Foleyet Ontario. Approx 1990. This is likely the White Cow on Tom Sterlings video. See the single dark spot on the side of the neck. The video is comming soon...
